Most of the pain was on the neck area and behind the ear but the actually head area wasn’t that bad. The vibration on my skull was more aggravating than the pain. KOI fish after session 1. Freehand on skin then tattoo. All I had was thick black Sharpie! My finepoint markers red and blue got slightly wet and tip became damaged. Unfinished. Needs medium and light graywash and white highlights. This is the 10th tattoo I’ve done. Since the tiger video, I’ve improved dramatically. Now, I can outline fast and efficiently in smooth single strokes with no touchup required (assuming customer takes care of it, only ultra light layer of A&D rubbed into the skin, any more will extract ink). My “graywash” (diluted black) shading has become consistent and smooth with gradual fade from darkest to lightest. When filling and shading, I apply just enough pressure to penetrate the skin and there’s no gouging or excessive bleeding or retattooing any sections (unless they’ve been touched lightly when shading). This can cause scars and deeper wounds are more likely to get infected.
