I am getting a capricorn-ish tattoo that is pretty detailed with parts of me and my gf. The upper half will be part man with a goats head. the fur will be blueish and the eyes typical goat yellow long. The lower body will be long and not typical but with more design to the fins. The scales will be done in a design between snakes and koi. the scales will be various shades of, blue, purple, and green and hints of pink or red. It will tattooed as if you are facing it. It will have a odd long bow with wooden grain look to it but it is purple and red. the arrows with be heart tipped with designs along the shaft and the end will have exaggerated feathers similar to a peacock with brighter colors such as red, orange and pinks with hints of purples and greens. It will have a flute that looks like its made from a single knotty limb (tree) and on its shoulder will be a green earth dragon that looks like its made from moss with its wings expanded.

The tattoo is going on the outside of my left leg. I am not sure how to go about it. I got the design down, the colors (does it sound good). I am just not sure how big i want it to be. Should i get it long from my knee down to my ankle and spend about 00-2200 on it or should it get it half that size for about a grand. What are your guys thought on this.

P.S.1 The artist is amazing. Its about 0 per hour. He is a master at shading. Bullet Proof tattoo does the work. one of the best ever.

P.S.2 My issue is not money. I am saved up to 00 for it. I am just not sure if I should put it all towards this one tattoo or get two awesome ones. I hope to do tattoo competitions. I try to get tattoos that are very detailed instead of just covering skin. lots of detailed multi colored shading anf so on.
